Temple Terrace-based Florida Orthopaedic Institute opened a new facility in Clearwater on Aug. 3.
The facility spans 23,000 square feet and includes 34 exam rooms, advanced imaging, physical and occupational therapy and orthopedic urgent care, according to an Aug. 3 news release from the organization.
The location offers MRI, CT, X-ray and musculoskeletal ultrasound, allowing patients to access diagnosis, treatment and recovery services in one location. Several physicians formerly with Florida Orthopaedic Surgeons also joined the Clearwater office to continue caring for existing patients.
Florida Orthopaedic Institute operates about 15 locations across the Tampa Bay region, offering orthopedic subspecialties, imaging and rehabilitation services. The physician group also co-founded Orthopaedic Solutions Management, a management services organization that expanded to 36 locations and more than 150 physicians across Florida and Georgia as of 2023.
