Orthopedic medtech company Enovis became the first industry partner to sponsor multiple American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons registries.
The company, a longtime sponsor of the American Joint Replacement Registry, will also support the AAOS Shoulder & Elbow Registry through 2027, according to a Sept. 22 news release.
The Shoulder & Elbow Registry tracks treatment patterns and outcomes. Nearly 2 million people in the U.S. visit a physician for rotator cuff tears each year. The registry’s 2026 Annual Report includes implant component-level data for the first time.
The American Joint Replacement Registry contains more than 5 million procedures and is the world’s largest national registry of hip and knee joint replacement data by annual procedural count, according to the release.
