Insight Medical Systems is known for its Arvis augmented-reality system for knee and hip replacement, according to a July 6 news release. Enovis, a medical technology company, first invested in Insight Medical Systems in 2020, and in 2021, Arvis received FDA clearance.
“Adding Insight’s technology to our rapidly growing surgical business advances our enabling technologies platform with innovation tailored to today’s healthcare economics and especially the ASC,” Enovis CEO Matt Trerotola said in the release.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
