This is Englewood’s fifth spinal fusion certification. It has also received the hip and knee replacement certification continuously since 2008, and the stroke center certification since 2005, according to a Feb. 14 press release.
To earn recertification, Englewood underwent an onsite review of all three programs that examined patient outcomes, patient and team member interviews, practice and policy reviews and patient safety processes.
