Durham, N.C.-based EmergeOrtho added two orthopedic practices, expanding its presence in Greensboro, N.C.
The organization merged with Murphy Wainer Orthopedic Specialists and Guilford Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center, collectively known as Southeastern Orthopaedic Specialists, according to an Oct. 27 news release from EmergeOrtho.
Murphy Wainer Orthopedic Specialists was formed by Daniel Murphy, MD and Robert Wainer, MD.
Guilford Orthopaedics was founded in 1983 by Vincent Paul, MD. The practice expanded in 1987 to become Guilford Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center.
With the partnership, EmergeOrtho Triad Region has eight orthopedic physician clinics, four orthopedic urgent care clinics, five MRI service locations and six physical and hand therapy clinics, the release said.
