Medical investment company AngelMD recruited orthopedic surgeon Mark Froimson, MD, as executive director of clinician engagement.

Sergio Viroslav, MD, of San Antonio-based TSAOG Orthopaedics, estimated that his practice lost 90 percent of its surgical volume and half its office visits from mid-March through April.

Michelle Carlson, MD, performed surgery to repair a ruptured scapholunate ligament in the right wrist of Utah Jazz forward Bojan Bogdanović.

Benjamin Schwartz, MD, reported that 85 percent of his patients wait-listed during elective surgery shutdowns still want to move forward.
