Here are nine orthopedic surgeons in the news this past week.

Daniel Berry, MD, has been named the chief science advisor for Bodycad.

 

Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia had a partial medial meniscectomy and chondroplasty performed by club orthopedist Peter Asnis, MD.

 

David Ott, MD, is leading a group of physicians to develop the Center at Val Vista, a 96-bed, 75,000-square-foot facility.

 

Stephen Klinge, MD, joined UMass Memorial-Marlborough Hospital.

 

Memphis, Tenn.-based Campbell Clinic hosted two international orthopedic physicians — Ara Aivazyan, MD, of Armenia, and Brian Billy Berto Madison, MD, of South Sudan — as part of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons International Scholars Program and the Campbell Foundation’s Footprints in Motion Program.

Philip Hurley, MD, will shift from part-time to full-time at the Kentucky-based health system Ohio County Healthcare.

 

Vincent Mosca, MD, will join the Anchorage Fracture & Orthopedic Clinic in Alaska for a two-day clinic to treat pediatric patients suffering from bone, joint or muscle injuries.
