Drs. Amgad Haleem, Kevin Martin receive American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society traveling fellowships

The American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society named two traveling fellows for 2017, according to AAOS Now.

The two traveling fellows are Amgad M. Haleem, MD, PhD, and Kevin D. Martin, DO.

 

Dr. Haleem is a foot and ankle surgeon with OU Medicine. His practice and research focuses on cartilage-preserving procedures for the major weight-bearing lower extremity joints and biologics use. He attended medical school at Cairo University School of Medicine in Egypt and completed his PhD in stem cell-based cartilage regeneration at the University of Pittsburgh.

 

Dr. Martin is an orthopedic surgeon practicing in Colorado.
