Here are four things to know:

1. More than 30 million adults suffer from osteoarthritis, making it the most common form of arthritis and most common cause of disability.

2. Hackensack Meridian Health HUMC is one of four centers nationwide participating in an IRB- and FDA-approved clinical trial by Think Surgical to demonstrate that the TSolution One System is a safe and effective surgical alternative to traditional knee replacement using manual instrumentation.

3. The TSolution One System is designed to cut the femur and tibia based on a preoperative plan designed by the surgeon. The clinical trial will examine TSolution One System’s ability to follow this preoperative plan and achieve the desired implant alignment.

4. Dr. Kissin performed the surgery on a 58-year-old female patient suffering from osteoarthritis of the left knee.
