1. Tracy Painter, MD, will provide orthopedic services at the hospital.
2. Dr. Painter will continue to treat patients at Springfield-based Orthopedic Center of Illinois.
3. Dr. Painter will begin performing surgeries at HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital in mid-July.
4. He will see patients at the hospital by referral on Tuesdays.
5. Dr. Painter specializes in arthroscopic shoulder and knee surgeries, fracture care and joint replacements.
6. He completed his residency at SIU School of Medicine in Springfield, Ill.
