The procedure was an extensive labral debridement procedure on Mr. Wood’s left shoulder, according to a July 26 news release.
Mr. Wood will miss the remainder of the 2024 MLB season as a result of the surgery.
Dr. Kremchek performed the procedure at Beacon Orthopedics in Cincinnati, the release said.
