The system, which can convert for reverse shoulder replacement, recieved FDA 510(k) clearance earlier in 2023, according to a news release.

“The Catalyst Stemmed CSR TSA is the first fully convertible system to feature an anatomical ellipsoid humeral head,” Dr. Blaine said in the release. “This is an important distinction because the ellipsoid head allows for more accurate restoration of the natural joint kinematics compared to spherical head designs.”

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
