Dr. Scott Wolfe awarded for wrist research — 4 observations

Orthopedic surgeon Scott Wolfe, MD, of Stamford, Conn.-based Hospital for Special Surgery was awarded the Kappa Delta Elizabeth Winston Lanier Award, according to Fairfield Citizen

1. Dr. Wolfe received the research award from the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

 

2. Dr. Wolfe is chief emeritus of the hand and upper extremity service at HSS.

 

3. His research has mainly focused on wrist motions.

 

4. Dr. Wolfe and a colleague have designed implants for total and partial wrist replacements.
