Four things to know:
1. In addition to joining Northwestern Medicine, Dr. Bhatia will become co-director of Central DuPage Hospital’s new Hip and Knee Joint Preservation Center. Brian Chilelli, MD, will be the other co-director.
2. Dr. Bhatia is a sports medicine surgeon that previously practiced at Mercy Health Cincinnati Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center in Cincinnati.
3. Dr. Bhatia earned his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and completed his fellowship at Vail, Colo.-based Steadman Philippon Research Institute.
4. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Bhatia is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and has authored multiple articles for peer-reviewed journals.
