Dr. Ryan Cox joins Upstate Medical University

Ryan Cox, MD, joined Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y., as an assistant professor.

Three things to know:

1. Dr. Cox specializes in shoulder and elbow injuries including tendinitis, osteoarthritis, osteochondritis, frozen shoulder, and rotator cuff injuries, according to an Oct. 25 news release.

2. He earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine and completed his residency at Rothman Orthopaedic Institute, both in Philadelphia.

3. He will see patients at the Upstate Bone & Joint Center in East Syracuse, N.Y.
