Here are four things to know about Dr. Royce:
1. He is a board certified orthopedic surgeon at Front Range Orthopaedics in Colorado Springs, Colo. Dr. Royce has over 20 years of clinical experience and specializes in arthritis treatment and surgery, shoulder and knee sports medicine and total joint replacement.
2. He received his medical degree from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, and underwent fellowship training in Boston at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Cartilage Repair Center, a teaching affiliate of the Harvard Medical School.
3. He lectures nationally on treatment for arthritis.
4. Dr. Royce is especially interested in young arthritic knee and cartilage care for joint injuries. He is a member of the United States Olympic Committee Sports Medicine Program and was also a team physician for the U.S. Team at the 2012 Paralympic Games in London. Dr. Royce also serves as a USA Hockey Team Physician and has traveled internationally with them for over a decade. He has also provided care to high school athletes in Colorado Springs for over 20 years.
