2. He is a U.S. Navy veteran, who served at Washington-based Naval Hospital Bremerton and Japan-based U.S. Naval Hospital Okinawa.
3. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the Michigan Orthopaedic Society.
4. He earned his medical degree at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He went on to complete an orthopedic surgery residency at Flint, Mich.-based McLaren Regional Medical Center.
