Dr. Deshmane is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in adult reconstruction, sports medicine and treating hip, knee and shoulder injuries.
In addition to providing care at Mohawk Valley Health System, Dr. Deshmane serves as a clinical associate professor in orthopedic surgery at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y.
Dr. Deshmane has also previously served as assistant team physician for the Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Cubs, the report said.
