Dr. Peter Millett to operate on New Jersey Devils player

Peter Millett, MD, is set to perform shoulder surgery on Jack Hughes, a player for the New Jersey Devils, on April 10 in Vail, Colo.

After discussions with the Devils’ athlete care staff and chief medical officer Jonathan Glashow, MD, it was determined that Mr. Hughes should miss the remaining games of the season to undergo surgery, according to an April 9 news release from the NHL team. 

Mr. Hughes is expected to make a full recovery before training camp for the Devils starts next season. 

Dr. Millett is an orthopedic knee, elbow and shoulder and sports medicine specialist. He is also a partner at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo.
