Dr. Mangone, of EmergeOrtho, Blue Ridge Division in Asheville, N.C., will lead the Text to Give program facilitating donations to the foundation, according to a news release. The Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Foundation is the charitable arm of the AOFAS.
Previously, Dr. Mangone was on the board of directors for the foundation as president-elect and member-at-large. He is an active member of the AOFAS and part of its health policy committee and chair of the practice management committee.
