Dr. Rotenberg was a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. He served on the staff of Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for more than 60 years and eventually became chief of orthopedic surgery.
He received his medical degree from Chicago-based University of Illinois College of Medicine and interned at Los Angeles County+University of Southern California Medical Center.
Dr. Rotenberg served as a physician for the Los Angeles Raiders for 17 years.
