1. Dr. Mast is the medical director of the Saint Francis Orthopedic Institute, and he performed the surgery using the less-invasive anterior approach.
2. He has completed advanced postdoctoral fellowships in pelvic and acetabular trauma and reconstruction.
3. He was also selected for AO North America’s 2009 Martin Allgower fellowship, during which he was trained in hip preservation, including periacetabular osteotomy and hip arthroscopy.
