Neal ElAttrache, MD, is set to perform shoulder surgery on Walker Kessler, a center for the Utah Jazz, on Nov. 6 in Los Angeles.
The surgery will repair a labral tear in Mr. Kessler’s left shoulder, according to a Nov. 5 news release from the team.
Due to the injury, Mr. Kessler will miss the remainder of the 2025-26 NBA season.
Dr. ElAttrache is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. He also serves as head team physician for the Los Angeles Dodgers, as well as the Los Angeles Rams.
