Mr. Harper will have surgery Nov. 23 for an ulnar collateral ligament that he suffered in April, the report said. He recieved a platelet-rich plasma injection injection to his right elbow in May. However, Dr. ElAttrache determined the tear didn’t heal on its own.

It’s unknown if Mr. Harper will also need Tommy John surgery, the report said.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
