The surgery is to repair a torn labrum in Mr. Mathurin’s right shoulder and will take place in Los Angeles, according to a March 9 news release from the Pacers.
Mr. Mathurin will miss the rest of this NBA season but is expected to make a full recovery before the start of the 2024-25 season.
