Dr. Neal ElAttrache operates on New Orleans Pelicans player

Neal ElAttrache, MD, performed shoulder surgery on Herb Jones, a player for the New Orleans Pelicans.

The procedure was to repair a torn rotator cuff in Mr. Jones’ right shoulder, according to a Feb. 12 news release from the team. 

Mr. Jones will miss the remainder of the NBA season and is expected to make a full recovery. 

Dr. ElAttrache is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. He is also the head team physician for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Los Angeles Rams.
