The surgery was to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament, according to a post on X by Aaron Wilson, a reporter for NBC affiliate KPRC.

Mr. Omenihu is expected to make a full recovery for the 2024-25 NFL season.

Dr. ElAttrache is the head team physician for the Los Angeles Rams, another NFL team, and the Los Angeles Dodgers, the city’s MLB franchise. He also serves as an orthopedic consultant to two NHL teams — the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks — as well as the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
