Dr. Mukund Komanduri performs 2nd most cartilage implants in Illinois

Cellular therapies developer Vericel Corp. has announced that Mukund Komanduri, MD, chief of staff at MK Orthopaedics Surgery & Rehabilitation in Joliet, Ill., has performed the second highest number of cartilage implant procedures in the state, according to a report by The Herald News.

Dr. Komanduri has performed 75 cartilage implant procedures since 1997, when the procedure first became available.
