Dr. Moby Parson joins Expert Network: 5 highlights

The Expert Network inducted Portsmouth (N.H.) Regional Hospital surgeon Moby Parsons, MD, as a Distinguished Doctor based on his peer reviews, recognitions and accomplishments.

Here are five highlights:

 

1. Dr. Parson completed fellowship training in shoulder and elbow surgery at the Seattle-based University of Washington School of Medicine and University of South Wales in Australia.

 

2. Dr. Parson is experienced in joint implant procedures using ConforMIS and reverse shoulder replacement.

 

3. With his experience using different implant technology, Dr. Parson has helped develop prosthesis designs. Most recently he helped develop a surgical navigation system, allowing surgeons to more accurately reconstruct arthritic shoulders.

 

4. Dr. Parson earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

 

5. Dr. Parson continues to teach courses and hosts visiting locations for surgeons to learn his techniques.
