Dr. Rothermich is a surgeon with Andrews Sports Medicine in Birmingham, Ala., and he used the mizedreality headset on Jan. 20, the practice said in a news release.
HoloLens lets a surgeon see an MRI as a holorgram in his peripheral vision. The device also has a camera and microphone built in to help train surgeons remotely during cases.
