Dr. Ken Moore wins local college’s 2016 Chancellor’s Award: 3 points

Columbia State Community College named Ken Moore, MD, mayor of Franklin, Tenn., the recipient of the 2016 Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Philanthropy, according to Franklin Home Page.

Here are three points:

 

1. Dr. Moore received the award for his support of the Tennessee Board of Regents, Columbia State Community College and higher education in Tennessee.

 

2. Dr. Moore, an orthopedist by training, has served as president of the Tennessee Orthopaedic Society and represented Tennessee to the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Board of Councilors.

 

3. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tenn.
