Dr. Keith Meister to operate on Texas Rangers player

Keith Meister, MD, is slated to operate on Texas Rangers pitcher Jacob deGrom, the MLB said June 6.

Mr. deGrom is suffering at tear in his right ulnar collateral ligament, according to a news release. 

He is expected to have Tommy John surgery, CBS Sports reported June 7. The procedure will end Mr. deGrom’s season.
