The procedure was performed on Mr. Greene’s right elbow, his non-throwing elbow, after he injured it during a game on Sept. 1, according to a Sept. 20 report by espn.com.
The Tigers expect that Mr. Greene will make a full recovery and be ready to return to play by the start of the 2024 MLB season.
