A total of four coronavirus cases have now been reported in the Georgia Senate.
On March 18, Georgia Sen. Brandon Beach was the first to test positive for the disease. While the results of his test were pending, he attended a session vote at the state capitol, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
State Sen. Nikema Williams and Sen. Bruce Thompson both reported positive COVID-19 tests March 22.
As of 1 p.m. CDT March 23, 621 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Georgia, according to data from Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins University.
