2. He began his career in 1975 and retired in 2014.
3. Dr. An is internationally known for his work with the biomechanics of upper extremities, orthopedic surgery and sports medicine.
His leadership helped make Mayo’s Biomechanics Laboratory Clinic a world-leading research center.
4. Dr. An’s work was fundamental in the development of joint arthroplasty and tendon repair.
