Dr. Justin Dunn performs 1st outpatient knee replacement in Georgia’s Floyd County: 5 takeaways

Justin Dunn, MD, of Rome (Ga.) Orthopaedic Center & Sports Medicine, performed the first outpatient knee replacement in the region, according to Rome News-Tribune.

2. He has been interested in outpatient joint surgery for some time and been planning to start performing the procedures at ROC.

 

3. Dr. Dunn also performed an outpatient hip replacement surgery in August 2016.

 

4. He specializes in direct anterior total hip replacement, total knee replacement, partial knee replacement, complex revision total joint replacement and joint preservation.

 

5. Dr. Dunn completed his lower extremity reconstruction fellowship at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, Calif.
