Joshua Campbell, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C., performed the surgery on Mr. Hoyer’s left knee, according to a statement. The surgery was successful, and he is focusing on recovery.
“Mr. Hoyer is resting comfortably and will work from home in St. Mary’s County, Maryland as he begins physical therapy,” the statement said.
