Dr. John Herzenberg joins orthopedic medtech board

John Herzenberg, MD, was appointed to Wishbone Medical’s board of directors, the orthopedic devicemaker said Oct. 5.

Dr. Herzenberg is director of pediatric orthopedics at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and director of the International Center for Limb Lengthening at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics, also in Baltimore, according to a news release. 

He previously worked with Wishbone as a surgeon advisor for the development of the devicemaker’s clubfoot Achilles tenotomy convenience kit.

“As we continue to develop products to raise surgical standards for pediatric patients, Dr. Herzenberg’s insights will help to ensure that we are also exploring new solutions to streamline efficiencies for surgeons and their teams,” Wishbone CEO Nick Deeter said in the release.
