Mr. Santos had an arthroscopic surgery to remove an osteochondral fragment in his left knee, according to a news release. He was injured during a March 18 game.
Dr. Giuliani is the team’s orthopedic surgeon and works with Fairfax, Va.-based Inova Sports Medicine. Mr. Santos is expected to be sidelined for two to three weeks.
