2. He is a member of the Louisiana Orthopaedic Association.

 

3. Dr. Garrison earned his medical degree from the University of California at San Francisco and completed his residency at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn. He underwent a sports medicine fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Ala.

 

2. The Town Talk also named Brian Elkins, MD, medical director of Legacy Health & Wellness in Alexandria, La., the 2016 Health Care Hero of the Year.
