Ms. McNally began experiencing elbow pain during a tournament in 2023, and it has since persisted. She said in a March post on Instagram that Jeffrey Dugas, MD, performed the surgery.
“After 10 months of elbow pain and multiple conservative routes, we made the decision that surgery was the best option moving forward. I’m extremely grateful for Dr. Dugas and his team who took incredible care of me,” Ms. McNally said in the post.
While Ms. McNally is sidelined while she undergoes physical therapy, she aims to return to competition in 2024, according to the report.
