Dr. Jason E. Lang joins Blue Ridge Bone & Joint: 5 things to know

Blue Ridge Bone & Joint, a division of EmergeOrtho, has added Jason E. Lang, MD, to its medical team at the Arden, N.C., office.

Here are five things to know about Dr. Lang:

 

1. He specializes in hip and knee replacement.

 

2. His clinical expertise includes minimally invasive surgery, patient specific instrumentation and computer navigation.

 

3. Prior to joining Blue Ridge Bone & Joint, he served as an associate professor of orthopedic surgery at Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Wake Forest University.

 

4. He holds memberships with American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, North Carolina Orthopaedic Association, Piedmont Orthopedic Society and International Congress for Joint Reconstruction.

 

5. He earned his medical degree at Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, N.C., where he also performed an orthopedic surgery residency. He went on to complete an adult reconstructive surgery fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.
