Mr. Chubb’s injury was sustained in a September game against the Steelers in Pittsburgh, according to a Nov. 14 statement from the Cleveland Browns.
Dr. Voos, the team’s head physician, performed the surgery at University Hospitals Drusinsky Sports Medicine Institute in Beachwood, Ohio.
Dr. Voos said the surgery was successful and that Mr. Chubb is also recovering well from his first knee surgery that he had in September, according to the release. He is expected to be able to play in the 2024 NFL season.
