Dr. James Voos operates on future MLB player

James Voos, MD, has operated on Luke Costello, an elite baseball player who has been scouted for the MLB draft since he was 13, according to an Aug. 21 report from NBC affiliate WKYC.

When Mr. Costello’s MLB dreams were derailed by an ACL injury, he traveled from Pennsylvania to Cleveland-based University Hospitals for surgery. 

Mr. Costello is now undergoing physical therapy at University Hospitals and is preparing for the MLB draft as soon as he’s eligible after his junior year of college at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C. 

Dr. Voos also serves as head team physician for the Cleveland Browns and the president of the NFL Physicians Society.
