Dr. James Voos operates on Cleveland Browns player

James Voos, MD, performed arthroscopic knee surgery on Jedrick Wills Jr., an offensive lineman for the NFL’s Cleveland Browns.

The operation was performed on Dec. 12 at University Hospitals Drusinsky Sport Medicine Institute in Beachwood, Ohio, according to a Dec. 12 news release from the team.  

Mr. Wills suffered the injury during a game on Nov. 5. He will miss the remainder of the 2023 season but is expected to make a full recovery by the start of next season. 

Dr. Voos is the head team physician for the Browns and chair of the orthopedic department at University Hospitals and Case Western Reserve University, both based in Cleveland.
