Dr. Parkinson is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who received his medical degree from the University of Rochester (N.Y.) Medical Center. He underwent orthopedic rehabilitation fellowship training at the University of Southampton (U.K.) General Hospital.
Dr. Parkinson served as medical director of sports medicine and team physician for Williams College in Williamstown, Mass., and the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams between 1982 and 2016. He also served on the medical staff of the former North Adams Regional Hospital and the former Orthopedic Associates of Williamstown for over two decades.
