Medtech company Advita Ortho has launched its next-generation GPS Shoulder system, updating its navigation platform with a new station and software.
Howard Routman, DO, completed the first cases using the system at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Fla., according to a Jan. 29 news release from Advita Ortho.
The system aims to improve implant placement accuracy, reduce complications and enhance patient outcomes.
More than half of Advita’s shoulder cases are performed using GPS, the release said.
