OSSIOfiber anchors recently were released in the U.S. and are used in the fixation of soft tissue to bone, according to an Aug. 8 news release. They use the company’s DURAlink coupling technology to increase stability and prevent suture slippage.
“The new OSSIOfiber suture anchors provide amazing strength and biology that I trust to be predictable and safe for my patients,” Dr. Berlet, chief medical officer of Ossio, said in the release. “Utilizing OSSIO’s trusted biointegrative material, these anchors allow me to maintain my preferred technique for soft tissue fixation procedures while improving my results.”
