Dr. Evgeny A. Dyskin joins UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine: 5 notes

UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine has added Evgeny A. Dyskin, MD, PhD, to one of its Buffalo, N.Y.-based offices, according to the Amherst Bee.

Here are five things to know about Dr. Dyskin:

 

1. He is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult joint replacement, trauma surgery and reconstruction surgery.

 

2. His research has been published in Arthroscopy and Injury, among other medical journals.

 

3. He holds memberships with American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America, AOTrauma and Orthopaedic Trauma Association.

 

4. He earned his medical degree at Tver State Medical Academy in Russia. He went on to do two residencies: a trauma and orthopedic surgery residency at Russia-based Tula Regional Hospital and an orthopedic surgery residency at New York-based University at Buffalo.

 

5. He completed three fellowships: an orthopedic traumatology fellowship at Minneapolis-based University of Minnesota, an AOTrauma fellowship in Salzburg, Austria, and an adult reconstructive surgery fellowship at New York-based University at Buffalo.

 

Dr. Dyskin is the third surgeon to join UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in recent months.
