Dr. Dan Cooper operates on Seattle Mariners player

Dan Cooper, MD, performed knee surgery on Jorge Polanco, an infielder for the Seattle Mariners.

Dr. Cooper repaired the patellar tendon in Mr. Polanco’s left knee, according to an Oct. 10 report.

Mr. Polanco is expected to return to action for the start of the 2025 MLB season.

Dr. Cooper is a sports medicine surgeon specializing in knee and shoulder injuries. He currently serves as the head team physician for the Dallas Cowboys and was previously the head team physician for the Dallas Stars.
